One of the young stars of the international jockey scene, 23-year-old O’Donoghue has been nominated for the FIH Emerging Star of the Year. He plays a key midfield role for Ireland and has scored a remarkable 51 international goals in 105 matches. From UCD he went to Belgium where he won back-to-back Belgian league titles with the Dragons.
