Ranked 25 in the world, the 25-year-old Meath woman finished ninth at the London Games. Last year she warmed up for Rio with an 11th place finish in the European Championships. Interestingly, during her secondary school years, she played on the same hockey team as two other Rio Olympians, Sara Treacy (steeplechase) and Camilla Speirs (equestrian).
