Recently-married Matt (32) is very much the elder statesman of his partnerships with Ryan Seaton in their 49er and he’s a member of the Ballyholme Yacht Club, not far from his native Bangor. The pair secured one of the Rio qualifying spots available at the ISAF Sailing World Championships in Standander in 2014.
