The top ranked Irish rider in world road racing, Dan comes into the Rio Games on the back of a stunning performance in the Tour De France, finishing ninth behind winner Chris Froome. The 30-year-old has a strong pedigree in road races having won the Tour Of Lombardy in 2014 and the Liege Bastogne Liege the previous year. He will be confident of improving on his performance in this event at London, where he finished 90th in the Men’s Road Race.
