When the 24-year-old won a gold medal at Doha’s World Elite Championships in 2015, he became the first Irishman to win a men’s World Championship gold medal. This time his dad John, a High Performance Coach with Ireland, will be in his son’s corner for Rio. And with an Olympic bronze medal already in his possession from London, the aspirations this time around are simple: match the achievement at Doha and win gold.
