A qualified physiotherapist, Ciara (26) will be competing in her first Olympics. The Kilkenny woman is coached by double-Olympian James Nolan, who is also head of athletics for Paralympics Ireland. Her season’s best is more than six seconds off her 2:01.21 personal best, though she’ll be aiming for at least one PB in Rio.
