Mick, who turned 30 in January, has been the most consistent distance runner on the Irish scene for the past 18 months, winning national titles at cross country and on the road. He is coached by three-time Olympian Dick Hooper and qualified for Rio, his first Olympics, with a 2:15:11 run in Seville in February.
