At just 16 years of age, Ní Ríain is heading into 5th year this September. But not before making her Paralympic debut in Tokyo.
What she lacks in age she has made up for in success, taking a bronze in the 100m backstroke at the European Championships in Madeira earlier this year. That was the Limerick swimmer's first major appearance at senior level for Ireland.
