Ireland's Nicole Turner has finished seventh in the final of the SM6 200m individual medley at the World Para Swimming Championships in London.
Turner recorded a time of three minutes 10.76 seconds as Britain's Maisie Summers-Newton lowered her own world record to claim gold.
Summers-Newton's stopped the clock at 2:57.24, with Ukraine's Yelyzaveta Mereshko seizing silver and China's Song Lingling rounding off the podium places.
Barry McClements narrowly missed out on both his personal best and a place in the final despite producing one of his best ever performances in the S9 100m butterfly heats.
His fifth-place finish saw him miss out by less than 0.4.
Injury saw Amy Marren miss out on her event on Monday and, despite competing in a final yesterday evening, the injury has again struck and she was unable to take her place on the blocks for the 100m S9 butterfly.
It is still hoped that the shoulder injury will clear up enough to allow Marren to compete at least once more before the end of the championships on Sunday evening.
