The men’s 200m freestyle looks like it will be the race of the night in the finals of the Irish Open Swimming Championships which reach their conclusion at the NAC in Dublin.

Jordan Sloan, Jack McMillian, Brendan Hyland and Robbie Powell will be battling for the win and a place in the Irish team for the World Championships in South Korea in July.

Hyland is also the fastest qualifier into the men’s 100m fly final as he bids to add to his 200m butterfly success earlier in the week.

Hanna Miley, Britain’s two-time Olympian, goes for her fifth gold medal of the week in the women’s 200m individual medley final.

The action gets under way at 5.30pm.
