Nicole Turner this morning qualified for her sixth final at the World Para Allianz European Swimming championships in Dublin after advancing in the 100-metre freestyle.
The 16 year old, who yesterday won a silver medal in the 50m Butterfly, was third in her heat at the National Aquatic Centre.
The Portarlington teenager qualified fifth of the eight finalists for tonight’s final which starts at 5.30pm.
Ellen Keane, winner of a bronze medal on Friday in the women’s 200m individual medley, has gone straight through to the final of the SB8 100m breaststroke which is off the blocks at 5.05pm
Keane won a bronze in the 100m breaststroke at the Rio Paralympics two years ago.
Ireland's other competitors this morning, Patrick Flanagan (100m Freestyle S6) and Seán O’Riordan (50m Freestyle S13), failed to advance from their heats.
