Patrick Flanagan, Ellen Keane, Ailbhe Kelly, and Jonathan McGrath are all through to their respective finals later today at the World Para Allianz European Swimming championships at the National Aquatic Centre.
Flanagan is the second ranked swimmer into the final of the 400 Freestyle S6 and has a huge opportunity to take Ireland’s first medal of the week.
Ailbhe Kelly and Jonathan McGrath are through to their respective S8 100 Freestyle finals while Ellen Keane is the fourth-ranked simmer through to the final of the women’s 200 metres Individual Medley SM9
Sean O’Riordan has gone straight through to the final of the men's 100 metre backstroke S13 at 6 o’clock
James Scully competed in the men's 50 Freestyle S5 and was placed 10th overall, which means he won’t swim in the final of the event
