Andrew Bree, the only Irish Swimmer to have qualified for the Olympic Games, has shown a fine return to form in Tennessee.

Bree set a new Irish senior record in the mens 100 metres breaststroke at the Tennessee meet on Friday night, in a time of 1 minute 1.83 seconds.

The mark is under the Olympic Council of Ireand ‘B’ standard
and Bree will now be able to swim that event along with the 200 metres breaststroke in China.
