Swim Ireland team member Andrew Bree equaled the Irish record in today's 200m breaststroke final at the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

Bree, who is representing Northern Ireland at the games finished fifth in a time of 2:14.18 which equaled the current Irish record that was set by Michael Williamson in 2004.

However the Belfast man was disappointed to finish just out of the medals with what was his best swim of the Games.
