Last week, Shelbourne's Rachel Graham described the current Galway United squad as the best they had ever assembled in the SSE Airtricity Women's Premier Division.
Fast forward to Saturday, and Phil Trill's side underlined their status as title challengers as they beat reigning double winners Athlone Town 2-1 in their top-of-the-table clash.
Speaking on the RTÉ Soccer Podcast, Graham said Galway's performance as well as the result itself was proof that they are here to stay, a week on from when they had drawn against Shels.
"I was so impressed with them when we played against them, I thought they were excellent," said the former Republic of Ireland international.

"I'd still stand by (what I said). It's the best Galway team I've ever seen. They went 1-0 down against Athlone but I thought they were actually the better team.
"You don't always get what you deserve in football. You can be the best team for 90 minutes and still lose.
"In fairness, it turned around in the second half. They didn't feel sorry for themselves and still went at it and obviously the red card was a turning point in the game and probably gives Galway a bit of an extra lift and maybe a little bit of doubt in Athlone's mind and the equaliser then is an unbelievable strike."
Defender Remini Tillotson found the net with a long distance thunderbolt before Niamh Farrelly expertly headed in the winner for Galway.
The win ensure the westerners remain three points clear of Athlone at the top until the league resumes on 20 June for the ninth round of games from 22.
"They've proven they're definitely going to be up there," Graham said.
"It's obviously still early (in the season) and there's a good bit to go but a break is coming now.
"We've All-Island (Cup), then we've the league break, then it's All-Island again, so you're probably nearly a month without a league game."
While maintaining momentum could have been beneficial, Graham feels Galway could also find the break useful.
"It could be coming at a good time and they have the injury with Ceola (Bergin) now who is somebody who they're going to have to replace," she said.
"So it's probably coming at a good time where they can rest everyone."
