Robbie Keane has confirmed his exit as manager of Hungarian side Ferencvaros.
On Friday, reports had suggested that the Republic of Ireland record goalscorer would tender his resignation after almost a year and a half in charge, with speculation linking him to Celtic.
The 45-year-old Dubliner has had a successful tenure as manager of Hungary's most successful club.
Last season he led the Budapest giants to the league title, while this season they finished runners-up in the top flight but triumphed in the cup final.
On Saturday, Keane announed his departure in a social media post.
"After an incredibly enjoyable and successful 16 months at Ferencvaros, I have made the difficult decision to bring my time at the football club to an end," he said.
He added: "After a great deal of thought and reflection, I believe now is the right time for me to move on. It is not a decision I have taken lightly."
Keane had previously won an Israeli league title as manager of Maccabi Tel Aviv during his one year in charge of the club.
