The departing Sam Kerr scored the only goal in the 34th minute, equalling Fran Kirby’s all-time record of 116 goals for the club.
Khadija Shaw scored twice in what could be her final WSL appearance for Manchester City as the champions celebrated their title success with a 4-1 hammering of West Ham.
Shaw, who is out of contract this summer, took her league goal tally for the campaign to 21 with City’s second and third goals in London.
Jade Rose put City ahead and Laura Coombs was also on target in her final game before retirement.
Toko Koga scored a stoppage-time winner as fifth-placed Tottenham beat FA Cup finalists Brighton 2-1.

Mayumi Pacheco pounced in the sixth minute of stoppage time, beating another Ireland stopper Katie Keane, for the only goal of the game.
