Troy Parrott lifts home the opener

Troy Parrott needed barely a minute to make his mark as he put AZ Alkmaar ahead against Feyenoord.

Parrott has been in superb for this season but he hadn't scored for almost a month. He was clearly a man on a mission today, netting within 30 seconds of the game only for it to be ruled offside. Parrott was not perturbed - in the next play of the game, he lifted home a lovely opener.

Anis Hadj Moussa equalised for Feyenoord in the 57th minute and that's how it stayed. AZ are now sixth in the Eredivisie table, which would earn a place in the Europa League.
