Waterford head coach Jon Daly and assistant coach Richard Foster have left their positions at the RSC, the club has confirmed.
The basement club lost 1-0 to Shamrock Rovers in the League of Ireland Premier Division on Friday night, meaning they are still searching for their first league win of the season 13 games in.
Daly took charge of the side ahead of the 2026 season having been assistant manager at Galway United the previous year.
While still chasing a first league win, the side have drawn three of their last five games having endured a five-game losing streak prior to that.
Club coaches Brian Murphy and David Breen will take charge for Monday's bank holiday clash with Dundalk.
"Waterford FC can confirm Head Coach Jon Daly and Assistant Coach Richard Foster have left the club with immediate effect," a statement read.
"We would like to thank Jon and Richard for their efforts whilst at the club and wish them well for the future.
"First-team coaches Brian Murphy and David Breen will take control of the side for Monday's game against Dundalk at the RSC."
