Troy Parrott was in fine form again this afternoon for AZ Alkmaar, scoring once and providing two assists in a 4-0 victory over Heracles Almelo.
Parrott scored twice in the UEFA Conference League match with Sparta Prague last Thursday and was quickly back on the scoresheet this afternoon, netting in the fifth minute of the Eredivisie clash.
The first assist then saw the striker control the ball with his chest, flick the ball over the head of a defender and pass it forward with superb timing to Sven Mijnans who scored with ease.
The Republic of Ireland striker teed up Mees de Wit for the third goal, with Isak Jensen completing the scoring.
Parrott has scored 14 league goals this campaign and 28 in all competitions.
He has two matches to play before Ireland's World Cup play-off encounter against the Czech Republic: the second leg of the Conference League clash on Thursday, and a meeting with Groningen in the Eredivisie next weekend.
