Head coach Keith Andrews is confident his Brentford players have dusted themselves down from the disappointment of going out of the FA Cup as they regroup for Monday night's Premier League game against bottom club Wolves.
The Bees twice fought back to draw 2-2 at West Ham in the last of the fifth-round ties, which went to extra-time and then penalties, with the home side progressing 5-3 after the shoot-out.
Former Republic of Ireland international Andrews feels having a "clean" week to prepare for their next league game and the challenge of pushing on into the top six will prove time well spent.
"The squad are dusting themselves down after the disappointment of going out of the FA Cup, when they gave everything," Andrews said at a press conference.
"It was a huge physical exertion from the players, especially those who played 120 or more minutes, and then the emotions of going out in the manner that we did."
Andrews added: "I don’t see one game has been different to another. I think the way we have navigated through the season has been very much one game at a time. It was the cup the other day, we were fully focused on that.
"We have (had) a clean week in terms of Monday to Monday into this game, and we give all our attention and focus on preparing for what will be a really tough game against Wolves."
Brentford defender Rico Henry is set for a spell on the sidelines with what Andrews described as a "decent hamstring injury". The Bees boss said: "We want him to get back to a good place. How long will that be? I’m not entirely sure."
