Troy Parrott's red-hot streak continued as he scored in AZ Alkmaar's 3-1 win at home to Sparta Rotterdam in the Eredivisie.

With his side already 2-1 up heading into injury time, the Ireland international wrapped up the points, finishing off a Jeroen Zoet pass for his 23rd goal of the season.

Barcelona leapfrogged Real Madrid to go top of LaLiga following a routine 3-0 home win against relegation-battlers Levante.

Marc Bernal gave Barca an early lead and Frenkie de Jong put them 2-0 up at half-time before Fermin Lopez wrapped up the points with a late 20-yard thunderbolt.

Hansi Flick's side took full advantage of Real’s shock 2-1 defeat at Osasuna on Saturday to climb one point clear at the summit after bouncing back from two consecutive defeats.

Napoli’s fading Serie A title hopes were dealt another big blow as Antonio Conte’s reigning champions slipped to a 2-1 defeat at Atalanta.

Sam Beukema headed Napoli into an interval lead but Mario Pasalic’s second-half header hauled Atalanta level and Lazar Samardzic snatched the home side’s winner with another headed effort in the closing stages.

Conte’s injury-hit side have won only two of their last five league matches and sit 14 points behind leaders Inter Milan with 12 games remaining.
