Women's Super League: United beat Leicester to extend winning run

Julia Zigiotti Olme and Elisabeth Terland were on the scoresheet as Manchester United beat Leicester 2-0 for their third-straight Women's Super League victory.

The Red Devils took an early lead after 13 minutes when Zigiotti Olme's cross skimmed over the head of Lea Schuller and tucked into the far post before a low finish from substitute Terland wrapped up the win in the 88th minute.

United are now unbeaten in their last six WSL games and close the gap on leaders Manchester City - who play Arsenal on Sunday - to eight points, but Leicester still linger two points above the relegation zone
