Republic of Ireland forward Leanne Kiernan has joined Nottingham Forest from Liverpool on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Kiernan, who has made seven appearances for Liverpool during the current campaign, will feature alongside some familiar faces at the Women's Super League 2 club as fellow Ireland internationals Chloe Mustaki and Jessie Stapleton are currently plying their trade at the City Ground.
The Cavan woman, who began her career with Shelbourne before securing a move to England and West Ham in 2018, told the Forest website: "I'm really pleased to have joined Nottingham Forest.
"I can’t wait to get started with this team and begin playing with this talented group of players."
Head coach Carly Davies said of securing the services of the 26-year-old: "We are delighted to have Leanne join the club for the remainder of the season from Liverpool.
"Leanne is a player with proven quality at the highest level both on the domestic and international level.
"She brings a wealth of experience in this league, having won the division with Liverpool in 2021/22.
"She will bring a new dynamic to our attacking threat and we are excited to see her play in the Garibaldi Red."
