Paris Saint-Germain leapfrogged Lens at the top of Ligue 1 thanks to Ousmane Dembele's double in a 3-0 home win against Lille.

France forward Dembele gave PSG a 1-0 half-time lead and added his second before Bradley Barcola's stoppage-time effort sealed Luis Enrique's 100th win as boss.

Les Parisiens made it four straight league wins and moved two points clear of Lens, who face Auxerre at home on Saturday.

Monaco lost further ground on the top six as they lost 3-1 at home to Lorient for their fourth straight league defeat.

Ansu Fati cancelled out Bamba Dieng's second-half opener for Lorient, but the visitors struck twice in the closing stages through Jean-Victor Makengo and Dermane Karimto extend their unbeaten league run to seven matches.

Monaco, in 12th place, seven points adrift of the top six, have not won a league game since the end of November and could slide further down the table over the weekend.

In La Liga, Ukraine striker Vladyslav Vanat converted penalties at the end of each half to seal Girona a 2-0 win at Espanyol and their third straight league victory, which lifted them into the top half of the table.

Eintracht Frankfurt missed the chance to close in on the top six of the Bundesliga and needed a stoppage-time equaliser from winger Ansgar Knauff to snatch a 3-3 draw at Werder Bremen.

Bremen twice hit back to equalise through Justin Njinmah and Jens Stage after Arnaud Kalimuendo's first-minute opener and Nnamdi Collins had put Frankfurt ahead.

Jovan Milosevic's late effort appeared to have won it for the home side, but Knauff struck in the fourth minute of added time.

In Serie A, Atalanta failed to climb into the top six after being held to a 1-1 draw at second-bottom Pisa, for whom Rafiu Durosinmi headed a late equaliser soon after Nikola Krstovic had given the visitors the lead.
