Brentford head coach Keith Andrews has his eyes firmly set on a run in the FA Cup alongside their promising Premier League campaign.
The Bees head to Sky Bet Championship strugglers Sheffield Wednesday on the back of an impressive 3-0 home win over Sunderland, which left them fifth in the table.
Having seen his side reach the last eight of the Carabao Cup before losing at Manchester City, former Republic of Ireland midfielder and assistant manager Andrews is determined to maintain momentum while also managing player workload.
"We will see where a few of them are. What I can guarantee is that we are taking the game seriously," the Dubliner told a press conference.
"We took the League Cup really seriously, we got to the quarter-finals and were beaten by Manchester City.
"The same approach will be taken towards the FA Cup. It is a competition I have a lot of love for."
Dango Ouattara will be rested following international action with Burkina Faso at the Africa Cup of Nations, but Romelle Donovan and on-loan Arsenal forward Reiss Nelson are among those in contention to face the Owls.
Andrews said: "Reiss has come back from a knock during the December period. He has come back into the fold and probably hasn't been ready to start games, but he is edging closer with the minutes he has been getting and will certainly be involved."
