Dundalk have strengthened their squad ahead of their return to the SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division with the addition of Scottish striker Danny Mullen.
The 30-year-old scored 21 goals in 86 appearances during two-and-a-half seasons at Derry City before leaving the Candystripes at the end of last season.
Mullen's switch to Dundalk adds further experience to their squad after the Louth club announced the signing of goalkeeper Conor Kearns on a season-long loan deal from Shelbourne on New Year's Day, while former Bohemians captain Keith Buckley's arrival at Oriel Park was confirmed last month.
"Danny is a huge addition to our group. I think his record and CV speaks for itself. We're delighted to have him," said Lilywhites manager Ciarán Kilduff.
Having been promoted as First Division champions last season following relegation in 2024, Dundalk's first league game back in the top flight will be away at reigning champions Shamrock Rovers on Friday, 6 February.
