Brentford head coach Keith Andrews is confident his squad can continue to move in the right direction over the second half of the season.
The Bees won 2-0 at bottom club Wolves last weekend to push themselves 10 points clear of the relegation zone.
It has been a largely positive opening to the campaign under former Republic of Ireland player Andrews, who stepped up into the head coach role following the summer departure of long-serving boss Thomas Frank to Tottenham.
Andrews feels the progress is testament to the efforts of everyone pushing for the same collective goal.
"It confirms what I am generally feeling about how we are moving in the right direction," Andrews said.
"We know we have lots to learn, develop and continue to build, but to be sat here with the points tally we have shows we have a really stable environment."
Andrews told a press conference: "I always look up, that is the way I am wired and the way the club is built. It is a progressive mindset, very respectful at the same time of each and every game.
"We have to keep looking to improve and strive to be better and better. If we can do that, there is only one way that can bring us – and that is up."
