Thomas Frank's Tottenham tenure suffered another setback as Fulham inflicted more home woe with a 2-1 win.

Frank watched Spurs suffer a third consecutive defeat in a horror week after they conceded twice in the first six minutes at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium – the second following a moment of madness by goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.

Fulham broke the deadlock in the fourth minute when, within seconds of a poor header by Kevin Danso, the excellent Samuel Chukwueze cut inside from the left and picked out Tete, who had an 18-yard shot deflected beyond Vicario by Spurs' Destiny Udogie.

Tottenham were stunned but 136 second later conceded again in a moment to forget for Vicario.

Randal Kolo Muani had an effort blocked seconds into the second period before a succession of promising openings ended with a poor Tottenham delivery.

When Porro did finally produce a quality cross, Kolo Muani sent his 57th-minute header into the side-netting.

Spurs finally had momentum, though, and the deficit was reduced with 31 minutes left when Lucas Bergvall chipped into the path of Kudus and he lashed into the top corner.

Igor Thiago scored twice in the last 10 minutes to help Brentford beat relegation-threatened Burnley 3-1 after an exciting finish to their Premier League clash at the Gtech Community Stadium.

The Brazilian opened the scoring in the 81st minute from the penalty spot before Zian Flemming responded with a spot-kick of his own a few minutes later.

Just as it appeared that the spoils would be shared in west London, Thiago popped up in the box with a brilliant 86th-minute finish before Dango Ouattara wrapped up the points in stoppage time.

Burnley came into the clash in desperate need of a win after falling to defeat in their three previous Premier League fixtures.

After Irish defender Nathan Collins missed a great chance for the hosts, club and country team Caoimhin Kelleher denied Axel Tuanzebe with a brilliant close-range save in the 34th minute after the ball fell kindly for the Burnley defender.

Kelleher made another crucial intervention with three minutes remaining of the half, producing a strong hand to stop Zian Flemming's effort from the edge of the area, which looked set to find the top-right corner.

Ouattara was at the centre of the action after being put through on goal in the 80th minute and being fouled by Tuanzebe.

Referee Sam Barrott pointed to the penalty spot and after consultation with the video assistant referee, the penalty was confirmed.

Thiago calmly placed the ball into the bottom-left corner to give his side the lead.

Michael Kayode gave Burnley a route back into the match just two minutes after the restart when he fouled Jaidon Anthony in the box.

Flemming kept his cool to find the bottom-right corner and level things up with five minutes remaining.

However, in a stunning turn of events, the ball fell to Thiago inside the penalty area a minute later and the Brentford striker made no mistake, blasting the ball into the top-left corner on the turn.

Ouattara then wrapped up the win with an excellent finish into the bottom-right corner after being put through on goal.

Brian Brobbey came off the bench to snatch Sunderland victory as they fought back from two goals down to beat Bournemouth 3-2.

Amine Adli's opener and Tyler Adams’ stunning long-range strike had given Andoni Iraola’s men a dream start on a wintry afternoon at the Stadium of Light.

However, Enzo Le Fee’s penalty and an equally emphatic Bertrand Traore finish either side of half-time set the stage for Brobbey – who denied Arsenal victory on Wearside with a late equaliser in his side’s last home game – to win it.

Bournemouth substitute Enes Unai curled an 83rd-minute free-kick just wide and Marcus Tavernier rattled the crossbar from distance two minutes later, but their afternoon ended in disgrace when Lewis Cook was sent off for an elbow on Noah Sadiki in added time.
