Athlone Town's Kelly Brady claimed the Player of the Year award for the 2025 Women's Premier Division season after starring in the midlanders' double-winning campaign.
It was a stellar debut season in the league for the New York-born but Irish qualified Brady, who finished the 2025 campaign with 26 goals in all competition, most memorably a hat-trick in the FAI Cup final in Tallaght as the league champions overcame Bohemians 3-2.
Brady, a former GAA player in New York and an Under-19 Ireland international, has attracted the attention of international manager Carla Ward and says she has her "passport and is ready to go" if called up to the senior squad.
Brady beat competition for the top award from Athlone Town team-mates Madison Gibson, Roisin Molloy and Hannah Waesch, Treaty United attacker Isabella Flocchini and Wexford's Ellen Molloy.
Treaty United midfielder Madison McGuane won the Young Player of the Year award, given the nod over fellow nominees Aoibhe Brennan (Bohemians), Ellen Dolan, Mary Phillips (Peamount United), Ella Kelly (Shamrock Rovers) and Bonnie McKiernan (Sligo Rovers).
