Drogheda United have kept hold of their player of the year Conor Keeley after the defender penned a new contract with the club.
Keeley was named in the PFAI Team of the Year and finished this season as United's top goalscorer.
He scored eight times in all competitions in 41 appearances despite his starting position of centre-half.
Keeley is in his second spell with the Boynesiders and has now made 78 appearances in claret and blue to date.
The 27-year-old was attracting interest from other Premier Division sides so the retention on a one-year deal is a major boost for Drogheda following their sixth-place finish.
Elsewhere Rob Cornwall and Alex Lacey have departed Bohemians.
Cornwall played 157 times for the Gypsies but saw game time restricted in the latter part of 2025.
Lacey failed to make an impact after requiring two operations during the campaign.
They follow John Mountney and Archie Meekison in departing the Gypsies.
Meekison became the first new signing of the 2026 season when Sligo Rovers announced his capture last night.
The Scot will officially link up with Rovers on 1 December having signed a pre-contract agreement.
"Archie arrives here at the perfect time in his career", Bit O' Red boss John Russell said.
"He was excellent for Bohs when he got the chance but he probably didn't get enough game time there to show his true potential. We believe the Showgrounds is the place where that potential is realised.
"He's a creative player who I think will fit in well here. We require the type of player who can make things happen in the last third and Archie has the attributes we're looking for to score goals and provide assists.
"I'm delighted he's decided to choose Sligo Rovers and we're looking forward to working with him when we return for pre-season."
