Frank Anguissa headed Napoli's winner as the reigning Serie A champions moved three points clear at the top of the table with a 1-0 win at Lecce.
Cameroon midfielder Anguissa followed up his fine goal in Saturday’s 3-1 home win over title rivals Inter Milan with a decisive second-half header after Lecce forward Francesco Camarda’s penalty was saved.

LaLiga’s bottom club Girona needed an extra-time goal from Vladyslav Vanat to win 3-2 at Constancia, Valencia won 5-0 at Maracana, Real Sociedad were 3-0 winners at SD Negreira and Sevilla beat Toledo 4-1.

In the second round of the German DFB-Pokal, Borussia Dortmund won through 4-2 on penalties in an all-Bundesliga affair at Eintracht Frankfurt after a 1-1 draw and Heidenheim lost 1-0 at home to top-flight rivals Hamburg.
Wolfsburg and Augsburg both fell to surprise 1-0 home defeats to Holstein Kiel and Bochum respectively, while Borussia Monchengladbach beat Karlsruher 3-1 and RB Leipzig won 4-1 at Energie Cottbus.
In Tuesday’s other all-Bundesliga tie, Mathias Pereira Lage equalised for St Pauli in time added on at the end of extra time against Hoffenheim before his side went on to win 8-7 in the penalty shootout.
