League leaders Shamrock Rovers earn four spots in PFAI Team of the Year

SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division leaders Shamrock Rovers have the most representation in the 2025 PFAI Team of the Year.

The Hoops, who only need one point from their final two games to mathematically seal a fifth title in six seasons are represented by the quartet of Roberto Lopes, Josh Honohan, Matt Healy and Graham Burke.

All in all, seven clubs have at least one player named in the team, with Drogheda United having two in the shape of goalkeeper Luke Dennison and centre-back Conor Keeley.

Shelbourne defender Paddy Barrett completes the back four, with Bohemians' Dawson Devoy included in midfield.

The front trio are made up of Derry City winger Michael Duffy, Sligo Rovers youngster Owen Elding and Waterford's veteran centre-forward Pádraig Amond - the current joint-top scorer this season alongside Tottenham Hotspur-bound teenager Mason Melia.
