Armenia boss Yeghishe Melikyan has warned the Republic of Ireland his team are ready to go to "war" with them in the quest for a place at next summer's World Cup.
The Armenians are currently third in Group F behind runaway leaders Portugal and Hungary having got the better of Ireland in Yerevan last month.
They have never made it to the World Cup finals, but victory in Dublin on Tuesday might give them a platform to end their wait.
Ireland coach Heimir Hallgrimsson has insisted it is a must-win affair for Melikyan’s team as well as his own.
Asked if he agreed with that, the Armenia head coach said: "Yes, I agree with what he is saying, that Ireland’s determination, their motivation and responsibility is the same as ours.
"I understand their motivation. We are both in the same situation: the two teams have dropped points in the last game.
"Tuesday will be war during the game and we wait to see what the result will be."
Armenia, who are ranked 103rd in the world, sprang a surprise last month when they beat Ireland 2-1 thanks to goals from Eduard Spertsyan and Grant-Leon Ranos.
However, Melikyan insists he and his players know exactly what to expect at the Aviva Stadium.
He said: "I said after the game in Yerevan that this game would be very different anyway. I know that the Irish national team has prepared very well, especially mentally as this is their last chance to qualify.
"The Ireland team understands that, as do we, so it will be different to Yerevan. But we have prepared well mentally."
Armenia headed for Dublin on the back of a 2-0 defeat in Hungary hours before Ireland went down 1-0 in Portugal, but defender Erik Piloyan is confident they can cause Ireland problems once again.
Piloyan said: "This game will be different from the one in Yerevan. Ireland will be playing at home, in front of their fans - it will be a very interesting match. We’ll try to play even better than in the first game."
