Two fixtures in tonight's SSE Airtricity First Division have also fallen foul of the weather. Markets Field and Ferrycarrig Park both failed morning pitch inspections meaning Treaty United v Longford Town and Wexford v UCD have been postponed.
Like the rearranged fixtures in the top flight, both games have been rescheduled for Sunday at 4pm.
Elsewhere, tonight's URC match between Ulster and Edinburgh in Scotland has also been postponed with details of the reschduled fixture to be confirmed at a later day.
