Athlone Town manager John Sullivan said big games need big players, after his team made it back-to-back Women's Premier Division titles with a 4-0 victory over Cork City at Turner's Cross.
The champions captured the league championship with two games to spare with a near perfect display that saw Kelly Brady net a hat-trick and local girl Kayleigh Shine score early on at the St Anne’s End.
Sullivan was delighted at the full-time whistle and was genuinely stuck for words when speaking to RTÉ Sport.
"Yeah, look, I am over the moon," he said.
"They are a great bunch and I'm very happy for them.
"I've said it previously, big games and big moments need big players and we’ve got a dressing room full of them.

"Every individual has had their moment over the last couple of weeks. Tonight was Katie and Kelly's.
"I'm a big believer in hard work and these girls work hard."
Athlone have a chance to make it a double when they face Bohemians in the Women’s FAI Cup final on 19 October at Tallaght Stadium.
"To be honest, I haven’t even thought about it," Sullivan said, with league games against Peamount United and Sligo Rovers still to come.
"We’ve got a game now on Saturday, so we look at that and there's a lot more tasks to be completed post-game Saturday."
Sullivan also gave a brief insight into his future as he is in discussions with the club about managing the team in 2026 having being appointed originally until the end of this season in September.
"Yeah, look, I've had some great conversations with the board," he said.
"We're very aligned on a lot of things so I'm sure there will be something on that in the next couple of weeks."
