Sunday's Premier Division meeting between Shelbourne and Galway United has been postponed following the passing of Ollie Horgan on Thursday.
Galway United requested a postponement in order to respect the funeral arrangements of their late assistant manager, who died after a short illness.
The re-fixed game will be played on Sunday 7 September.
The FAI earlier released a statement paying tribute to Horgan, saying he had made a "profound impact on the schools game and in the League of Ireland."
FAI President Paul Cooke said: "Ollie was one of the great characters in Irish football. He was a gentleman who brought energy to a room, knowledge to a conversation and passion to everything he was involved with. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends at this time. He will be missed but never forgotten."
This evening's League of Ireland fixtures will be preceded by a minute silence in honour of Ollie Horgan.
