Derry City produced one of their worst performances of the season, as bottom side Cork City battled hard to secure a 0-0 draw at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium.
The Candystripes were terrible throughout a disappointing 90 minutes.
As for Ger Nash, he will be thrilled that his side showed great fight and determination, and followed up last Friday evening's home win over Galway United with another point and a second clean sheet in a row.
The Brandywell men, like so many times this season, struggled to get going and lacked energy, which in turn meant the atmosphere was very low key.
After an awful opening 30 minutes, when neither Derry netminder Brian Maher nor Cork goalkeeper Conor Brann had nothing to really do, it was the home side who had the first half-chance, but Michael Duffy's weak header was gathered by the Rebel Army's keeper.
On 40 minutes, a neat run and cross down the right by Gavin Whyte picked out Liam Boyce, but the striker failed to hit the target when under pressure from Freddie Anderson.
Tiernan Lynch made a like-for-like change on 55 minutes, with striker Dipo Akinyemi replacing Boyce.
To be fair to the ex-Larne manager, he made a double change just after the hour mark, with Daniel Mullen and Ben Doherty replacing Whyte and Brandon Fleming.
The worrying aspect for Lynch was the fact that his changes didn't do anything, and incredibly the home side never created an opening throughout the 90 minutes.
