Shelbourne have signed Cork City's French defender Milan Mbeng on a multi-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old played 19 times in all competitions for Cork during the first half of this season.
He now departs the struggling Leesiders for life at Tolka Park.
"I’m really happy and proud to join this great club," he said. "From the first moment I heard about the opportunity from Joey and Luke, I knew it was something I wanted.
"I can’t wait to wear the colours, meet the fans, and give everything I have for the team. I’m ready to work hard and help the club as much as I can at an important time in the season.
Boss Joey O’Brien was thrilled to bolster his squad further with the arrival of Mbeng, adding: "He’s been one of the standout players in the league since coming in at the start of the season and has shown real quality throughout.
"He’s young, ambitious, and fits exactly what we’re trying to build here."

St Patrick's Athletic have brought in Northern Ireland Under-21 midfielder Darren Robinson on loan from Derby County.
Robinson began his career at Portadown before joining Dungannon Swifts in 2019, making his first-team debut in May 2021. He joined Derby a few days later.
Having impressed for the Rams' youth sides and Under-23s, Robinson made his senior bow off the bench in a 3-1 defeat to Bristol City in April 2022.
The 20-year-old was named Derby County 'Scholar of the Year' in 2022 and 2023. He also had a loan spell at Hartlepool United for the first half of the 2024/25 season.
Drogheda United have announced the signing of American/Portuguese striker Michael Cardo from Portuguese second-tier outfit Padroense.
The 21-year-old, who also previously played for Gil Vicente, joins the club after impressing on trial over the last number of weeks.
Republic of Ireland international Jessie Stapleton has penned a new two-year deal at West Ham and moved to Nottingham Forest on loan for the upcoming season.
The former Shelbourne midfielder has been at the Hammers since 2023 but has had to be patient to get first-team opportunities.
Stapleton was on loan at Reading for the second half of the 2023/24 camapign. Last season, she had a stint with Championship side Sunderland.
Still only 20, Stapleton is clearly in West Ham's long-term plans but she'll continue to develop elsewhere after agreeing a switch to another Championship outfit. Stapleton will link up with compatriot Chloe Mustaki, who joined Forest from Bristol City earlier this month.
"It's a very historic and ambitious club so I’m delighted to join, and I can’t wait to get going," said Stapleton.
"Talking to everyone involved at Forest, it showed the ambition of where they want the team to go. I’m looking to help the team get into the WSL, it’s a big goal of mine."
