Chelsea forward Noni Madueke is on the brink of a £50m move to Arsenal - becoming Mikel Arteta's fourth signing of the summer.

It's expected that England international Madueke will provide competition to Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli in Arsenal's wide areas.

It's understood that a fee, which could exceed £50m with performance-related add-ons, has all but been agreed with Chelsea, while the 23-year-old is keen to make the move.

Madueke, who made the switch to Stamford Bridge from PSV Eindhoven in 2023, would follow Spain midfielder Martin Zubimendi and goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga - who also joined from Chelsea - and Christian Norgaard in moving to the Emirates this summer.

Madueke scored 11 times for Chelsea across all competitions last season and was rewarded with his first senior international appearances under England interim manager Lee Carsley and his permanent successor Thomas Tuchel.

Arsenal are still in the market for a new striker, with Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres believed to be top of the list.

Former Republic of Ireland international Keith Andrews looks set to lure England midfielder Jordan Henderson (above) to Brentford after the 35-year-old departed Ajax.

Henderson will return to England after agreeing an early exit from his contract with the Dutch side, which still had a year remaining.

Former Liverpool captain Henderson, understood to have agreed a two-year deal, is set to bolster the Bees midfield following the departure of captain Christian Norgaard to Arsenal.

Henderson left Liverpool in 2023, having lifted the Premier League trophy alongside winning the Champions League and FA Cup during a 12-year stay at Anfield.

However, his move to Saudi Pro League side Al-Ettifaq was short-lived, and he headed back to Europe with Ajax in January last year.

Despite missing out on England's squad for Euro 2024, Henderson was brought back into the national team by new boss Thomas Tuchel as he plans for the 2026 World Cup.

Brentford are continuing a summer rebuild under new head coach Andrews following the departure of Thomas Frank to Tottenham.

The Bees have already signed Ireland goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher from Liverpool and 20-year-old midfielder Antoni Milambo from Feyenoord, while Michael Kayode's loan switch from Fiorentina has been made into a permanent move.

Cameroon winger Bryan Mbeumo remains a target for Manchester United, who last month tabled a bid worth up to £62.5m.

Celtic have confirmed that Nicolas Kuhn has joined Italian side Como.

The 25-year-old German winger (pictured above) joined the Hoops from Rapid Vienna in January 2024 on a five-and-a-half-year deal for a fee reported to be around £3m. Many media outlets are reporting the move to Italy could see the Parkhead club earn around £17m.

Last season Kuhn scored 21 goals in 51 appearances for the Hoops, helping them to the Premier Sports Cup and William Hill Premiership title.

The Parkhead club confirmed his departure on their official X account and said: "Everyone at #CelticFC thanks Nicolas for his contribution to the club and we wish him every success in the future."Thank you and good luck, Nicolas".

Crystal Palace have signed Croatia international Borna Sosa from Ajax.

The left-sided wing-back, 27, who spent last season on loan at Torino, moves to Selhurst Park on a three-year contract, with the deal reported to be in the region of £3million.

"I am very excited to join Crystal Palace. I have heard so many good things about the club," Sosa said on the Eagles' website. "I cannot wait to meet the players, the staff, and all of the fans, because I have heard so many good things."

Palace chairman Steve Parish feels Sosa will be "a fantastic fit" for Oliver Glasner’s squad, who won the FA Cup last season.

"His credentials speak for themselves," Parish said. "His arrival adds additional quality, experience and depth to our squad."

Anthony Elanga (above) has finally completed his move to Newcastle after the Magpies refused to give up their dogged pursuit.

The 23-year-old Sweden international has signed a long-term deal after the Tyneside club agreed an undisclosed fee with Nottingham Forest to secure the winger's services.

Elanga, who was a target for Eddie Howe last summer, will join international team-mate Alexander Isak at St James’ Park as his new employers prepare for a season which will include a return to Champions League football.

Boss Howe told newcastleunited.com: "I’m delighted to welcome Anthony to Newcastle. He has been a key target for us so I’m delighted to secure him at this early part of pre-season.

"He is an exciting talent with attributes that make him a unique attacking threat. His pace, energy and ability to create and score goals will strengthen us and complement the way we want to play.

"Anthony is hungry to develop even further with us and to achieve success here and we’re all looking forward to working with him."
