Robbie Brady and Kyra Carusa have taken home the senior player of the year awards, as part of the 35th FAI International Awards.
33-year old left back Brady was nominated for the senior men's award alongside Nathan Collins and Caoimhín Kelleher, which covers the period June 2024 to May 2025.
Brady was presented with the award by Ireland assistant manager John O'Shea in front of the squad this afternoon. In a brief speech posted by on 'X', Brady joked, "This is brilliant, I didn't expect to win it. . . shows how s**t youse have all been if I’m winning this!"
The Preston North End player missed the entirety of the Euro 2024 qualification campaign but has returned to prominence under Heimir Hallgrimsson, scoring the late winner in the 2-1 victory over Finland in Helsinki.
He previously won the award in 2016 after scoring twice in Ireland's Euro 2016 campaign.

Carusa was named senior international women's player of the year ahead of fellow nominees Anna Patten and Julie-Ann Russell.
The San Diego Wave player, who made her Ireland debut in early 2020, scored twice in the 2025 Nations League B campaign, firing the winner in the opening game against Turkiye and the second in the 4-0 away win over Greece.
Sunderland's Jess Stapleton was named as young player of the year ahead of Tyler Toland and Abbie Larkin.
Brady's winner away to Finland is also shortlisted for Goal of the Year, alongside Evan Ferguson's equaliser against Bulgaria in March's Nations League promotion/relegation playoff.
