Jacobo Ramon's stoppage-time goal helped Real Madrid beat Mallorca 2-1 and put La Liga leaders Barcelona’s title celebrations on hold for another day at least.

Kylian Mbappe’s drilled finish in the 68th minute – his 28th league goal of the season – helped Real draw level after Martin Valjent’s 11th-minute opener.

Ramon popped up at the death to secure Real a dramatic win, but victory for Barcelona at Espanyol on Thursday would still see them crowned champions.

Villarreal’s 3-0 triumph over Leganes moved them closer to a Champions League spot.

Villarreal are fifth in the table, six points ahead of Real Betis who have a game in hand, after Ayoze Perez’s double and Nicolas Pepe’s goal.

Joan Jordan’s penalty in the 79th minute helped Alaves beat Valencia 1-0 and move four points above the relegation zone with two matches remaining.

Dan Ndoye’s 53rd-minute goal gave Bologna their first major trophy since 1974 after they beat AC Milan 1-0 in the final of the Coppa Italia.
