Bray Wanderers set a new club record of seven successive wins in the First Division after defeating Kerry FC 4-2 at the Carlisle Grounds.
The victory sees Bray move level on points with Dundalk at the summit, with the Co Louth club away to Longford Town on Saturday evening.
Goals from Danu Kinsella Bishop and Cian Doyle had the Seagulls 2-0 up inside 11 minutes.
Kinsella Bishop got his second on 51 minutes as Doyle turned provider. A cross from the left was turned in at the near post.
Kerry, however, made a game of it and a brace from Ryan Kelliher on 82 and 88 minutes brought us a grandstand finish.
The home side did have the last say when Cian Curtis made it 4-2 after he was set up by Callum Costello.
Elsewhere, Cobh Ramblers, who sit third, got the better of Finn Harps on a 3-1 scoreline at St Colman's Park. David Bosnjak opened the scoring on 27 minutes, with Barry Coffey doubling the lead just before the break. Cian Bargary added the third four minutes after half-time.
Dara McGuinness pulled one back for the Co Donegal side on 66 minutes.
Despite going down to ten men midway through the second period, a Jake Doyle goal with 20 minutes left saw UCD record a 1-0 away at Wexford FC.
Treaty United defeated Athlone Town 1-0; Yousef Mahdy getting the only goal on 71.
