Republic of Ireland goalkeeper Gavin Bazunu has returned to Southampton after his loan spell at Standard Liege was cut short due to an injury.
The 23-year-old returned to action in February after eight months out with an Achilles injury.
Having played three times for the Saints' Under-21s in Premier League 2, Bazunu made the move to the Belgian Pro League to get precious first-team minutes.
The Dubliner was first choice between the posts at Standard but hasn't played since the 1-0 loss to Charleroi on 6 April, the same day Southampton's relegation from the Premier League was confirmed thanks to a 3-1 loss at Tottenham. They became the first Premier League team to be relegated with seven games still to play.
Bazunu will hope to recover in time for Ireland's June friendlies against Senegal and Luxembourg.
