Former Republic of Ireland international Mick McGrath has died at the age of 89.
The Dubliner, who was capped 22 times, joined Blackburn Rovers from Home Farm in 1954 and was a member of the side who lost to Wolves in the 1960 FA Cup final, but also helped the club win promotion to the First Division during a 12-year stay at Ewood Park.
A statement on Blackburn's official website said: "Rovers are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former player Mick McGrath, at the age of 89.
"Everyone at Blackburn offers their thoughts and sincere condolences to Mick's family and friends at this sad time."
In all, McGrath made more than 250 appearances for Blackburn before leaving for Bradford Park Avenue and then becoming player-manager at Bangor City in Wales.
