The Republic of Ireland will be maintaining their place in League B of the UEFA Nations League after following up a first-leg win against Bulgaria with another 2-1 victory at Aviva Stadium to seal a 4-2 aggregate triumph in their promotion/relegation play-off tie.
Here's how we rated the Irish players.

Caoimhin Kelleher - 6
A quiet first half until the ball whistled low and past him for Bulgaria's opener which, in fairness, there wasn't much he could do about it.
His rating isn't a true reflection of his performance though as much as underlining the fact he had little to do.
Matt Doherty - 6
Solid on the right side of the defence but less impactful than in Plovdiv when he had scored what proved to be the winner.
Shifted across to left back when Jimmy Dunne came on for the final 20 minutes.
Nathan Collins - 6
Sloppy at times with the ball in Plovdiv, the captain largely cut out those deficencies tonight, choosing safer routes out.
Was partially at fault, along with Jake O'Brien when Bulgaria opened the scoring against the run of play with an attempted block that proved ineffective in the lead-up to that goal.
Booked late on in the opposition box after grappling with an opponent while waiting for a set-piece delivery.

Jake O'Brien - 7
His height was evident early on as his six-foot-six frame caused trouble at the first corner, forcing a save from Bulgaria's goalkeeper and causing panic again on 42 minutes when his goal-bound effort from another set-piece was blocked on the line.
Playing out the back, the Cork man brought a degree of composure as the left centre-back with the exception of Bulgaria's goal.
Robbie Brady - 8
Without a natural winger in front of him, he had licence to get forward down the left. Showed the potential of his deliveries with a deep cross that Johnston should have done better with in the 10th minute.
Midway through the half, his accurate centre for Troy Parrott saw the Dubliner strike the post and minutes later another excellent cross met the same target with the resulting header just over the crossbar.
His set-pieces were also dangerous, lasering onto the giant magnet that was O'Brien's head more than once. Lasted 65 minutes before the 33-year-old was replaced by Ryan Manning on 65 minutes.

Josh Cullen - 6
Tidy in possession. Played a clever pass forward into the path of Parrott midway through the half which was cushioned into the path of Azaz.
A booking for a foul in the centre of the park on 82 minutes after complaints from the opposition.
Jason Knight - 6
Sat deeper as the central axis with Cullen and used the ball well in general. Booked just before half-time after losing the ball and then tugging at Marin Petkov's jersey in frustration as the Bulgarian got away from him. Featured for 81 minutes before departing for Jack Taylor.
Finn Azaz - 8
A relatively quiet start to the game but played a clever line-breaking pass to Ferguson in the 20th minute that sparked an attacking phase.
Clever movement in the first half and picked up some good positions as the game wore on, including when he sat in the hole just outside the Bulgarian box to be the conduit for a one-two and assist for Ferguson's goal.
His through ball towards Mark Sykes led to the second goal.

Mikey Johnston - 6
Made a bright start, pushing high up on the right flank when Ireland saw plenty of possession in the first five minutes.
Was less effective when it came to end product as the match wore on and picked up a cheap booking for a needless shirt pull later in the opening half.
Had a good opening early in the second 45' after being teed up by Parrott's clever pass but conspired to skew his effort high and wide of the near post. Subbed off on 65 minutes for Mark Sykes.
Troy Parrott - 7
Led the line once again, while also peeling more towards the left side. Hit the post from a Brady cross which was flagged for offside although replays showed the AZ Alkmaar striker had timed his run well.
Cushioned another for Azaz after cleverly drifting into a pocket outside the box and shortly after, led Simeon Petrov to be booked after pulling wide towards the touchline.

Unlucky with a header that just went over the top on the 35-minute mark.
Played a clever pass through to his right for Johnston just into the second half which was not capitalised on and similarly, a ball through for Ferguson led to another chance after both forwards hemmed in Simeon Petrov.
Seemed to be limping slightly as he was replaced on 65 minutes by Adam Idah. A really good showing again.
Evan Ferguson - 7
Dropped deeper than Parrott in the first half whilst Ireland were in possession. Very much involved in the opening salvo, he was less influential as the game balanced out in the opening '45 with the number 10 role not his natural role.
His pressing did lead to Parrott nicking the ball and then opening Ferguson open up to run at goal where he hit a shot from outside the box that kept Plamen Iliev honest.
But then his moment came just after the hour mark as Ireland's first subs were being prepped. Picking up the ball deep and running at the Bulgarian defence, he played a wall pass off Azaz and then showing composure as the West Ham loanee finished high into the net.
A mixed display with the confidence boost of a well-taken goal which will hopefully give him a boost back at the London Stadium during the run-in along with the valuable 72 minutes on the pitch.
SUBS USED
Mark Sykes for Troy Parrott ('65) - 7
A solid display on the right side of the pitch, covering the area that Mikey Johnston had occupied. Played a key role for the second goal, making a run to latch onto Azaz's through ball and then crossing expertly for Adam Idah to fire home.
Adam Idah for Mikey Johnston ('65) - 8
Was impressive after coming on with an enterprising run down the right wing initially and later with a neat touch inside in the 72nd minute, and similarly combined with Jason Knight for an Irish breakaway six minutes later with a lay-off.
Capped off his contribution with a goal as he fired home a Sykes cross at the far post.
Ryan Manning for Robbie Brady ('65) - 6
Initially in at left-back, he was moved forward once Jimmy Dunne came on and there was a reshuffle of the Irish back four.
Jimmy Dunne for Evan Ferguson ('73) - 6
A debut long in the making for the in-form QPR defender who had been in multiple squads without getting an opportunity to take to the field for Ireland.
Took up the right back position that he has been deployed at of late at club level. Settled well in his time on field.
Jack Taylor for Jason Knight ('81) - N/A
Not enough time for the Ipswich midfielder to make a meaningful impact.
