More of the same, is the message that Heimir Hallgrimsson will send to his players going into Sunday's second leg of their UEFA Nations League play-off with Bulgaria.
Ireland came from behind to secure a well-earned 2-1 victory in Plovdiv on Thursday night, and now they will look to pick up where they left off at the Hristo Bolev Stadium.
Bulgaria may have scored first, however, it was the Irish side that showed the most quality and composure over the 90 minutes and ran out deserving winners to take the advantage back to Dublin.
And Hallgrimsson will be looking for continuity from his side at Aviva Stadium as Ireland look to secure their League B status and avoid relegation.
Hallgrimsson believes that the onus is now on Bulgaria to come and try to win the game in Dublin, which will potentially leave them even more exposed defensively.
"I think now it’s a different scenario, they need to come to Dublin, win the game and score goals," said the manager, speaking to the media after the game.
"Now it’s their turn, they need to do something different, because they need to win."
Hallgrimsson is expecting Bulgaria to have a go, however, that does not mean that the manager is planning to sit in and attempt to absorb everything that the visitors throw at them.
On the contraary, in fact, as Hallgrimsson is planning to, once again, push high up the pitch and play the game in the opponents’ half.
"I always think defending higher up the pitch is easier," he said. "If you try to win it there it makes it easier for the defenders to defend higher up the pitch. We need good legs from the guys up top. It’s a lot of work for them defensively and that’s what we want in Dublin.
"I think we hurt them on those occasions when we switched across and made deeper runs, even from midfield, I think the wing play was good, and that was the plan."
And should Bulgaria enjoy a sustained period of attack, the manager is confident that his ever-improving side will be able to handle whatever the third-tier side will throw at them.
"That is the area where we have grown the most," said Hallgrimsson, when asked about the lack of chances Bulgaria enjoyed in Thursday’s game.
"In our low block defence we are pretty solid, we are not open in the middle, we show them outside. Sometimes they did crosses, but we dealt with them, so I am happy with that.
"If we want to beat stronger opponents, higher ranked opponents, we need to be really good in that area. So I am happy with that."
The side’s strong defending is complemented by improved game management, which Hallgrimsson believes comes with experience, and he feels the older players are really proving their worth by leading the way in that department.
"A lot of players would have come off with a runny nose, head injury etc, but he (Robbie Brady) stayed on the pitch.
"What I was impressed with was the way they defended without giving fouls because it would be really easy to be too aggressive in the duels.
"He showed, and I said it inside, that it’s important for the older players to lead, and lead by example and they really did today.
"You learn that (game-management) with experience. We talk about it, but you don’t work on those things, it comes with experience. Even things like, don’t lose it and keep your emotions controlled.
"I think sometimes we are too aggressive when we want the referee to give us something. We need to control our emotions and be smart."
The team travelled home overnight straight after the match and as a result, the manager was planning to offer a day off on Friday before reconvening on Saturday to get back into match mode.
Aching bodies and fatigued legs are expected following an energy-sapping performance on a heavy pitch in freezing conditions in Plovdiv, so it is a case of wait and see for some of the squad.
But the manager believes that his side will be raring to go, once again, following a confidence and character-building performance in Bulgaria.
"Maybe there will be tired legs tomorrow, but we have a really good medical team that will help them recover quickly," said Hallgrimsson.
"We’re just going to do a recovery at the hotel and try to get energy back into their bodies and then we’ll see tomorrow and the day after who is fresh and if we need to make some changes.
"But I think this performance was good so hopefully it gives us confidence for the next game."
