Last month's postponed SSE Airtricity Men's Premier Division clash between Shamrock Rovers and Cork City has been re-fixed for Monday, 14 April.

The original fixture at Tallaght Stadium had been due to take place on Sunday, 23 February but amid heavy rain and after two pitch inspections had been passed earlier in the day, the match was subsequently postponed less than an hour before the planned kick-off.

At the time, Cork City expressed disappointment in a statement, with the club saying: "Cork City FC are extremely disappointed that today's game against Shamrock Rovers has been called off so close to kick-off.

"In particular, we regret the impact it has had on our supporters who had travelled long distances to attend the game."

The match will now kick off at 8pm on Monday, 14 April in Tallaght.

Meanwhile, Cork's home game against Waterford at Turner's Cross on Monday, 21 April will now get underway two hours later than initially planned with a new kick-off time of 5pm.

Conversly on the same date, Shamrock Rovers' Dublin derby meeting with Bohemians will move to the earlier time of 2pm rather than its original 5pm listing.

That Monday's North-West derby between Derry City and Sligo Rovers has also been pushed back by a day and will now take place on Tuesday, 22 April with a 7.45pm start time.

In the First Division, two previously postponed games have new dates with UCD's home match against Bray Wanderers now fixed for Monday, 31 March, while Wexford v Longford Town will be played on Tuesday, 8 April. Both games will be 7.45pm kick-offs.
