Following pitch inspections, tonight's SSE Airtricity First Division fixtures between UCD and Bray Wanderers and Wexford FC and Longford Town have been postponed.
Following a second check at the UCD Bowl, the pitch was found to be waterlogged.
With prolonged heavy rain falling in Wexford over the last 24-hours, the playing surface at Ferrycarrig Park was also deemed unplayable.
Despit a positive evening forecast, concern remained that the pitch would not be playable in time for kick-off.
A new date for both fixtures will be announed in due course.
