Jim Crawford's Republic of Ireland Under-21 squad begin their quest to qualify for the 2027 European Championship with an away trip to Moldova in September.
Last week's qualifying draw saw the Irish also in a group alongside England, Slovakia, Kazakhstan and Andorra,
In advance of the qualifiers, Ireland will play friendlies against Scotland on Friday, 21 March and Hungary on Monday, 24 March at the Pinatar Arena in Spain.
Another friendly window is scheduled in June, with details to follow.
Qualifying for Euro 2027 begins on Thursday, 4 September with that visit to Moldova. A home game follows against Andorra five days later on 9 September.

There's a solitary qualifier for Ireland in October as they host Slovakia on Friday, 10 October. The round four fixture will be the highly-anticipated trip to three-time European Champions, England on Friday, 14 November before a second away game of the window against Andorra on Tuesday, 18 November.
Ireland’s first game of 2026 will be at home to Moldova on Thursday, 26 March and then it's Kazakhstan away on Tuesday, 31 March.
It will be three games in 12 days in the latter stages of the qualifiers. The Irish visit Slovakia on Friday, 25 September and return home to host Kazakhstan on Tuesday, 29 September. The qualification campaign ends with the visit of England on Tuesday, 6 October.
All venues and kick-off times will be announced in due course.
